How would you describe yourself?
Personally, I love traveling and am a big foodie! I have been to every state in the US – minus Alaska and Hawaii. My two worlds collide in Florence, Italy. It’s my favorite city in the world with some of the most delicious food!
Professionally, I have an unwavering passion for driving business growth through innovative strategies and dynamic partnerships. Over the past four years, I’ve immersed myself in the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing, specializing in e-commerce partnerships, co-marketing collaborations, and spearheading initiatives that breathe life into new partnerships.
What qualities make someone successful in the eCommerce industry?
Curiosity, consistency, and creativity!
What has been your biggest professional success so far?
About 2.5 years ago I moved from the New Business Development team into a completely new role for the agency to focus on growing our partnerships program. Since taking on this new role and initiative for the agency, I’ve grown the Partner Program over 120% YoY to support our 350+ brands.
What causes are you most passionate about?
I have a passion for utilizing sports as a vehicle to provide group therapy for children who are looking for a community to be a part of and achieve seemingly impossible goals. I studied psychology in college and worked with children through art therapy and sports based therapy to help them articulate their feelings, connect with others, and become leaders in their own neighborhoods. It is extremely rewarding hearing, “Coach Sam’s here” when we would begin our training sessions.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing eCommerce brands?
Identifying the right agency to think outside the box and get creative to meet the brands audience where they like to search.
What's your favorite loyalty program or subscription offering from an eCommerce brand?
Sephora, DSW, and Nordstrom.
What do you geek out over?
Reese Witherspoon’s book club, puzzling, and yoga!
