Tell us about your company and role.

I am one of the co-founders of Domaine (formerly Tomorrow, which merged with Half Helix in September 2023 to form the largest Shopify-only service partner in the world). We are a commerce agency that is purpose-built for enterprise brands. For the last five years, I’ve led our technology and delivery teams and had the opportunity to collaborate on building some of the most innovative commerce experiences on the Shopify platform.

How would you describe yourself?

I’d describe myself as deeply passionate about eCommerce, an industry where technological innovation plays a critical role in driving business growth. With an engineering background, I’m drawn to creating solutions that empower brands to reach their business objectives with greater speed and efficiency.

What qualities do you think a successful founder needs to have?

Persistence, resilience, and empathy.

What has been your biggest professional success so far?

Building a world-class global team that’s not only scalable and innovative, but also incredibly supportive has been my biggest professional success thus far. In our line of work, people are everything – each team member plays a crucial role that cannot be understated. Watching the team’s ongoing development and the consistent delivery of exceptional work is truly the highlight of my job.

What causes are you most passionate about?

I would say that fostering a fair and supportive work environment that encourages positive behavior and promotes diversity is crucial for me. Causes like the AWIE program are extremely important. Creating spaces where everyone feels valued and empowered to thrive is at the core of my advocacy.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing eCommerce brands?

One of the biggest challenges for eCommerce brands is navigating a downward economy resulting from the tech bubble burst and inflation, while the costs associated with customer acquisition and retention are much higher.

What's your favorite loyalty program or subscription offering from an eCommerce brand?

My favorite loyalty program from an eCommerce brand is Sephora. I appreciate its simplicity and effectiveness. What impresses me even more is how seamlessly they centralize data between online and in-store experiences, enhancing the overall customer journey.

What do you geek out over?

I love watching soccer, and I’m a big fan of Messi.
