Tell us about your company and role.

I founded Nomadd Marketing in 2016. We are a boutique email + SMS agency on a mission to help you maximize recurring revenue from your current customers and instagram audiences.

How would you describe yourself?

A recent review was: chaotic, but incredible!

What qualities do you think a successful founder needs to have?

Flexibility, diplomacy, and a good understanding of when to know you’re not the right person for a job.

What has been your biggest professional success so far?

Getting to a point where I can hire people who are better than I am and getting out of their way to just do the damn thing.

What causes are you most passionate about?

I’m most passionate about diversity. At Nomadd, we’re always looking to hire multi-lingual team members of different ethnicities and genders. It’s interesting to look at marketing through different lenses and, in fact, needs to be done more.


What do you think is the biggest challenge facing eCommerce brands?

Firstly, brands are still reeling from the negative impact that COVID had on growth expectations. Secondly, I feel Performance Marketing is getting in the way of genuine, original marketing. People are hyperfocused on performance, but we need to remember that sometimes we’ve got to take “the box”, burn it, and build a new box.

What's your favorite loyalty program or subscription offering from an eCommerce brand?

A few: YOTPO, Okendo, and Smile!

What do you geek out over?

Professionally: excellent copy. I’m a sucker for quick, witty text. Personally? Planning get-togethers with friends. I’m the ultimate extrovert.
