2020 Honorees

Sapna Parikh

Head of eCommerce & Digital

“My mantra has always been ‘anything is possible.’”

Tell us about where you work and what you do there.

I am the Head of eCommerce & Digital at the Clarins Groupe. I oversee our customers’ digital experience with our brands. This includes managing multiple branding and eCommerce sites, digital development, digital marketing, and CRM. I have years of digital experience — in the late 90s I helped launch Bloomingdales.com. From there, I eventually moved into the startup world.

How would you describe yourself?

I am always looking for the best way to impact a person’s life by making it just a little easier. Having been an entrepreneur for most of my career, my mantra has always been “anything is possible.” I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, which includes my husband and two teenage boys, as well as running, biking, and yoga!

What do you think has been your biggest professional success so far?

In 2007 I launched start-up Stylebell.com in the high-end beauty retailer space. StyleBell.com took the eCommerce customer experience to the next level. We went deep into how we were serving our customers, with licensed cosmetologists answering customer inquiries, influencer marketing as the basis of growth, and the creation of a digitally native brand that was derived from customer feedback. These tactics are now being deployed by companies almost 13 years later.

Where do you find inspiration?
