I am an eCommerce Project Manager at Patagonia. A lot of my day-to-day work is overseeing the execution of projects that help improve the customer experience on our website. Mainly, I solve problems and knock down blockers for my team so that we can deliver projects on time and within scope.
I love the outdoors and spending my time in nature! I consider myself pretty lucky to live in Southern California, where it’s always 70 degrees and sunny. It’s completely different from where I grew up, as I was born and raised in North Carolina. When I’m not at the beach, you can catch me traveling across the country. I love immersing myself in other cultures, and exploring new spaces.
Overall, I would say pivoting my career in technical project management to be more eCommerce-focused. Before joining Patagonia, much of my past experience was concentrated in web and app development, so taking this leap into the eCommerce space has been a bit of a shift in how I think, prioritize, and guide feature development.
Typically early morning, where I can spend time admiring the sunrise.
I’m a bit biased, but I have to say Patagonia. Patagonia’s investment in making a difference in saving the planet has changed the way I think and act as a consumer. A close second would be Away. I really admire their creativity, and the intention they put both into their website and product.
