Tell us about your company and role.

I’m the Vice President of eCommerce at Vuori where I oversee all things growth-related for the eCommerce channel including analytics, media, performance marketing, and site experience. 

How would you describe yourself?

I am a data-driven marketer who has a passion for growth in eCommerce. I’ve worked in many facets of marketing from CPG marketing to PR to digital strategy and eCommerce during my professional career. I absolutely love to learn as much as I can both personally and professionally.

Personally, I’m originally from Georgia but now I take advantage of the San Diego beaches on the weekends with my family and friends. I love my daily cup of green tea and fitting in a pilates session whenever I can.

What has been your biggest professional success so far?

My biggest professional success thus far has been the opportunity to build an incredible eCommerce team at Vuori. During the past four years, we have grown from a small team to multiple members and external partners across a variety of disciplines all focused on driving the eCommerce channel success. This growing team is truly one of the most rewarding parts of my professional career.

In addition, I have been fortunate to work with them through major projects like a website replatform to implementing new marketing technologies. Being able to see projects you work on come to life, while learning and growing with a great team is a true success to me.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing eCommerce brands?

While there are many dynamics to eCommerce brands, I believe being able to balance storytelling and commerce requires a balance between art and science.

What qualities do you think a good leader needs to have?

A good leader has strong listening skills, a solutions-mindset, and an empathetic perspective.

What's your favorite loyalty program or subscription offering from an eCommerce brand?

I love how personal care, wellness, and beauty brands lean into the convenience of subscription or repurchasing particularly Necessaire, Ritual, and Sephora (retailer).

What do you geek out over?

All things analytics — I love various ways that data can be used to tell a story.
