Tell us about your company and role.

I’m the Senior Director of Growth Marketing at Milk Bar, an award-winning bakery known for its iconic desserts, and oversee all things growth-related for the eCommerce channel including acquisition, retention, and site experience.

How would you describe yourself?

I’m an extremely analytical person who loves working with teams to solve problems in fast-paced environments. I’m most in my element when I’m either cooking up a meal in the kitchen or running outdoors. I love spending time with family, and my husband and daughter bring me so much joy, everyday.

What qualities does an effective marketer need to have?

Effective marketers are quick to adapt. Whether it’s responding to changes in platform algorithms, consumer behavior, or the larger macroeconomic landscape, strong marketers know how to say goodbye to ineffective strategies, test new ones, and double down on opportunities to scale.

What has been your biggest professional success so far?

Leading my team at Milk Bar. From hiring to fostering a positive team culture, to seeing our collective team impact on our company’s growth – it’s been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling aspects of my career.

What causes are you most passionate about?

As the daughter of an educator, I’m most passionate about causes around access to quality education and support for teachers such as DonorsChoose.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing eCommerce brands?

The eCommerce market is crowded, with a lot of players both big and small across categories. That makes it all the more important to differentiate yourself and standby your brand and what makes your product unique.

What's your favorite loyalty program or subscription offering from an eCommerce brand?

As a new Mom, I am a huge fan of both Bobbie and Once Upon a Farm.

What do you geek out over?

A good forecasting model and scenario planning.
