I am the Co-Founder of Kind Laundry and my role is to come up with new product ideas, share our story with our community, and support our team.
How would you describe yourself?
I am very passionate about serving our customers and I enjoy learning new things every day that can inspire or bring value to those around me. As a small business, each day is different and I enjoy embracing all the different challenges that come my way — I enjoy solving problems… especially ones people don’t want to deal with!

Passion, curiosity, persistence, grit, patience, and a strong belief in oneself
What has been your biggest professional success so far?
When customers share their favorite laundry time to their friends and family — and your product is featured! It brings us so much joy that we bring happiness to someone’s home with a more sustainable and safer alternative to the conventional ones out there. Another moment we were excited about is when we diverted over 250,000 thousand single-use plastic jugs from going into the landfills and ocean.
What causes are you most passionate about?
Animal rights, pollution — we partnered with the Ontario SPCA and donated to over 20 animal shelters across our city. The shelters run industrial-sized laundry machines on a daily basis as the animals are constantly soiling in the bed and sleeping in the blankets, and we want to make sure they are not licking toxic chemicals from the cheap laundry detergents… their health is important, too!
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing eCommerce brands?
The cost to get exposure and awareness, advertising online is getting more expensive so you have to be creative.
What's your favorite loyalty program or subscription offering from an eCommerce brand?
AMEX has a great loyalty program and I love adding points on their card. They have done a great job with brand partnerships, offer fun and unique experience and incentives, and they have amazing customer service. They are world-class at customer retention and they offer consistent, reliable customer experience.
