Tell us about where you work and what you do there.
I was the Head of US Partnerships at Klarna. I have always worked in tech and in my role at Klarna, I get to collaborate with leaders in the eCommerce and payment industries. Together with these partners, we develop mutually beneficial collaborations in order to deliver greater value to our retail merchants.
How would you describe yourself?
I love tackling a challenge to create something better, and I have the joy of doing this every day at Klarna, with such an incredibly energized and creative team. I also passionately believe that healthy and empowered women are essential to furthering economic growth and creating a better world. I strive to support women by being a mentor, champion, and friend, and to also get involved in initiatives to improve economic, social, and health outcomes for women.
What do you think has been your biggest professional success so far?
My greatest success has been living and working in several different countries and working with diverse international teams. I didn’t travel outside the US until I was an adult, but after that first trip to Spain in my early 20s, I was inspired to build a life that would enable me to immerse myself in other countries. I am proud to have built a career living and working in gorgeous countries including Spain, the UK, Mozambique, and South Africa. I am grateful for the amazing international teams with whom I have worked and the incredible bonding experience that comes from working together to solve a shared problem.
Where do you find inspiration?
I find my inspiration outside in the Colorado mountain air, over a glass of wine with my husband, and in playing with my kids.
