Head of Marketing & Ecommerce at Billini Shoes & Banbe Eyewear – an Australian-owned women’s footwear and accessory brand with a global reach.
How would you describe yourself?
I am a highly driven individual who excels in dynamic environments, playing a key role in driving brand success and growth. I am a hands-on leader, and believe in leading with compassion, prioritizing collaboration across all departments, and focusing on implementing impactful changes that benefit my team and the wider business.
What qualities does an effective marketer need to have?
Passionate, collaborative, results-driven, analytical, creative/open-minded, adaptable/problem-solving, and customer-focused.
What has been your biggest professional success so far?
It’s been an incredible journey leading impactful initiatives at Billini.
Some key highlights include:
- Achieving the highest-grossing Cyber Weekend in 2024 and the overall growth of the brand
- Navigating motherhood while balancing a thriving career and a newborn. This was quite a challenging time, but I am proud of how much I’ve developed in this area.
- Launching the Rozalia Russian X Billini collaboration in 2021 — our first influencer partnership and a groundbreaking moment for our market, exceeding all planned goals within a single day.
- Leading and growing a talented team of 12 individuals. With nearly eight years at Billini, I’m immensely proud of the strong, dedicated team I’ve nurtured and the opportunity to grow one of the largest departments in the business.
What causes are you most passionate about?
Supporting and nurturing women in business – especially in fields often dominated by men.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing eCommerce brands?
Accurate data attribution and customer insights.
What's your favorite loyalty program or subscription offering from an eCommerce brand?
My favourite is actually not an eCommerce brand, it’s Woolworths! They have really nailed their offering to drive customer retention and frequency. Along with this, I can’t go past Mecca & H&M for driving me to increase my LTV.
What do you geek out over?
I LOVE a great omni-channel brand approach. I love to see how an eCommerce presence can translate to a physical environment and experience.
