Tell us about your company and role.
I am the CEO and founder of Just Ingredients. A health and wellness brand dedicated to creating wholesome, effective products made with carefully selected ingredients. My journey started from my own struggles with health and mental wellness, which led me to research the impact of nutrition on our well-being. Now, I focus on educating consumers and formulating products that help people nourish their bodies without harmful additives. I’m involved in all aspects of the business from product development to marketing, customer service, and even warehouse operations. We all wear a lot of hats over here!
How would you describe yourself?
I’m a family-first entrepreneur, passionate about health, research, and empowering others to make informed, healthier choices. Family is at the heart of everything I do! My own family is my biggest motivation for living a healthier lifestyle, and that same passion drives Just Ingredients to help families everywhere. I love time spent with my family, whether through shared meals, game nights, or simply being present for one another.
What qualities do you think a successful founder needs to have?
Resilience, curiosity, and a deep commitment to your mission. Building a brand isn’t easy, but when you’re truly passionate about what you do, it keeps you going. You also need to be adaptable—what works today might need to change tomorrow, I love to use the phrase, “we are graduating”, on to bigger and better things!
What has been your biggest professional success so far?
My own health journey began from a place of deep struggle, where I nearly lost all hope. That experience became the catalyst for Just Ingredients. Now, the most rewarding part of my work is hearing from this amazing community—people sharing how our products have improved their health, energy, and overall well-being. Knowing that something I created is making a real difference in people’s lives is what I am most proud of.
What causes are you most passionate about?
There are many causes close to my heart, but holistic health, mental wellness, and ingredient transparency are the ones I’m most passionate about. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply our diet and environment affect our well-being. But simply pointing out the problems wasn’t enough—I wanted to offer real solutions. I believe that knowing what’s in our products is one key step toward better mental and physical health. In a world of hidden ingredients and confusing labels, I’m committed to full transparency. With us, what you see is what you get—every ingredient is intentionally chosen and clearly listed.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing eCommerce brands?
Standing out in a crowded market while maintaining authenticity is one of the biggest challenges for eCommerce brands today. Consumers are more informed than ever and want to trust the brands they support. It’s not just about offering great products—it’s about building genuine relationships, staying true to your mission, and ensuring transparency in everything from sourcing to marketing. I believe brands that prioritize honesty, quality, and meaningful engagement will earn long-term customer loyalty.
What's your favorite loyalty program or subscription offering from an eCommerce brand?
I love programs that truly reward loyal customers—whether it’s early access to new products, exclusive discounts, or personalized recommendations based on past purchases. A great loyalty program should make customers feel valued, not just like another transaction.
What do you geek out over?
I love learning new things—especially when it comes to researching innovative healing methods. I love diving into health documentaries and exploring new ways to improve well-being. The endless possibilities for growth and knowledge in health keep me excited and inspired.
