I am the VP of Enterprise Analytics at rue21. I started my career in consulting, working in different domains. Over time, retail and eCommerce became my passion. At rue21, I am responsible for establishing and delivering our data analytics program utilizing new technologies. My role is cross-functional, working with business and IT stakeholders.
I am someone who is very sincere about my responsibilities whether it’s at work or at home. I am always on the lookout for new learning and professional development opportunities. I enjoy spending time with my two young daughters and always think of ways in which I can make them independent, confident, empathetic, and thankful for everything.
I believe in empowering my team with ownership and accountability. I am always there for the team to remove blockers and discuss risks, diving in-depth when needed but at the same time I would want them to learn and reflect on their own.
When I was determined to leave consulting and looking for the next opportunity, I was sure I wanted to be in a growing fashion brand. I joined a fashion label where I grew from Analyst to Senior Manager and was able to deliver multiple analytics and data transformation projects across finance, supply chain, ecommerce, retail, customer, and marketing. I had the opportunity to manage a growing team of 20 plus employees and contractors. This prepared me to take on even bigger challenges at rue21.
Traveling as that had slowed down in the last two years. Continue learning, listening more, and having fun.
Social commerce and metaverse commerce
Target, as they have really transformed in the last few years. I like the simplicity and ease of shopping and the omnichannel experience.
